Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret China import/export regulations, as well as liaise with relevant Customs sections
- Provide technical supports in areas of customs valuation, tariff classification, country of origin, commodity inspection/quarantine compliance, etc.
- Develop and optimize integrated import/export process and solution, drive the implementation of the process within internal cross function and brokers to ensure compliance
4. Identify issues with regard to import/export activities, conduct technical analysis on the issues, highlight the
potential risks and recommend the way to improve internal control and management
5. Perform periodic internal assessment/audit to identify the compliance issues, gaps as well as the opportunities,
and initiate and implement the actions items for improvement.
6. Lead the response and resolution of Customs audit/investigation to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
7. Work with global and reginal global trade team to execute strategy, drive common processes, seek automation
opportunities and leverage technologies in China Customs operation
Basic Qualifications
1. 5+ years of experience in China import and export operation and compliance management,
2. Proficient knowledge of China Import and Export Regulations.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling communication with professionals and people in various levels, and to operate effectively within a team environment.
4. Strong analytical and computer skills.
5. Experience in implementing cross functional processes and procedures.
6. Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese.
7. Bachelor’s Degree or above.
