Translation duty

1. Plan, schedule and monitor translation projects.
2. Proofread and perform quality checks on translated files.
3. Translate and review, verify clinical documents, proofread/enter proofreader’s corrections, check consistency and format.
4. Embrace new technologies and changes in this industry to continuously improve one’s own translation skillset.

Process management

1. Manage the public email account of medical translation.
2. Maintain the translation glossary and translation memory for Clin Dev.

Internal and external communication

1. Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, professionals and colleagues to ensure high quality translation.
2. Respond in a timely and professional manner to any query concerning translation.
3. Communicate updated messages concerning clinical document translation with external translation service providers to ensure the quality of deliverables.

Requirement：

1. Master or above majoring in medical, biology, pharmacy, or other life science related areas or majoring in translation with strong medical or life science related background;
2. High level of English proficiency, especially an excellent command of written English;
3. Ability to prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality translation according to tight timelines and shifting priorities/demands;
4. Independently motivated with good problem-solving ability;
5. A good team player with integrity;
6. Ability to understand, interpret, and translate clinical and scientific data;
7. Technical expertise in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Trados and other Computer Aided Translation software
